Sam Battle on Fiddling with Organs – Special Feature

Sam Battle is a popular YouTuber in the vintage tech and music spaces. He’s best known for his channel “Look Mum No Computer”, and related channels “This Museum is Not Obsolete” and “Look Mum No Engine”.

Among Sam’s many projects, he created a series of videos where he restored a residential pipe organ that was in danger of being sent to the landfill when a homeowner passed away.

The series garnered literally millions of views across its 33 (and growing) installments.

As part of the Organ Grinder Documentary Project, we interviewed Sam to explore what attracts new makers and tinkerers of all ages to the unusual hobby of fixing up disused pipe organs.

Sam will be appearing in the main documentary, but he had so much to say that we are releasing this extended interview on YouTube.

Sam is currently representing the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Competition.
