The Rocky Mountain Chapter American Theatre Organ Society was founded in 1964 as a local chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society, covering Denver Colorado and the surrounding areas with a focus on promoting and preserving theatre organs and theatre organ music.
The group maintains the original installation, dual console, 4 manual, 21 rank Wurlitzer in Denver’s historic Paramount Theatre, and produces multiple public events at the Lakewood Cultural Center annually, featuring their Allen STR-4 Walt Strony Signature model, 4 manual digital theatre organ, having both 32 theatre organ ranks and 49 classical organ ranks.
In months without a public event, organization socials are held at the Holiday Hills Ballroom in Federal Heights, featuring an Allen George Wright IV Quantum model, 4 manual, 33 rank digital theatre organ, with local performing members and/or visiting artists.
