This is huge… a backer of the film has just given us a Challenge Award – any contributions received in February will be DOUBLED – fully matched by the benefactor, up to a total of $5,000. That means there is the potential to raise $10,000.
This is an amazing opportunity to jumpstart the road trip portion of the project. Plans are already coming together for visiting Denver to conduct interviews and research.
Between now and February 28th, any purchases you make in the shop, such as CDs or posters, will be matched for the full amount, as well as any direct contributions or sponsorships.
If you’ve been on the fence about contributing, now is the time to make a move. If we can raise the full amount, it will really propel the film forward through several necessary trips to get important interviews and research essential information.
And remember, all contributions of $50 or more get screen credit in the final film, and we track all contributions in a database, so if you’ve contributed before, your running total can bump you up a tier in the crowdfunding credits.
